The Problem
From the pandemic to heightened political polarization, change and challenge has become standard operating procedure for southern philanthropy. As an organization focused on providing support and guidance for foundations across the South, Philanthropy Southeast saw the ongoing challenges that organizations faced in keeping pace with rapid change and emerging trends. There was a clear need to capture and present these trends in an accessible and comprehensive format.
Our Solution
Philanthropy Southeast partnered with Turn Two to develop a robust report chronicling relevant and emerging trends in southern philanthropy as seen through the eyes of experts and those on the front lines doing the work every day. Through deep research and dozens of interviews, we wrote and designed a report that can serve as an essential resource for philanthropy leaders.
Results
A copy of the report was sent to leaders at each member foundation within Philanthropy Southeast’s 13-state footprint.
A series of webinars and events were held where expert speakers built off the report’s content to provide meaningful insights and context to help philanthropic leaders turn information into action to support their missions.
Excerpts and information from the report has been re-printed in Philanthropy Southeast’s quarterly publication Inspiration Magazine, serving as an effective vehicle to reinforce the key findings and relevant insights for foundation leaders.
