February 4, 2026
February may be the shortest month of the year, but it shouldn’t be overlooked.
This month plays host to a number of unique days and events that you can use to connect with your audiences, including the 2026 Winter Olympics and Super Bowl LX.
February also features Black History Month, an important time to honor the contributions and achievements of Black Americans throughout history, and those making it today.

Feb. 6: Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony
This February, athletes from all over the world will descend on Milan to represent their countries in the 2026 Winter Olympics. Throughout this next month the Olympics can also serve as a fresh way to connect with your audience.
Feb. 8: Super Bowl LX

Feb. 20: World Day of Social Justice
Designated by the UN General Assembly in 2007, World Day of Social Justice reminds us of the need to build a fairer and more equitable world. This year’s theme is Empowering Inclusion: Bridging Gaps for Social Justice. This is the perfect opportunity for your organization to highlight key initiatives geared towards equity and inclusion.
Feb. 28: Planetary Parade
During the planetary parade at the end of the month, backyard astronomers will be able to see Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Saturn, Uranus, and Jupiter, according to NASA. However, only four of the planets are visible with the naked eye. Those who would like to see Uranus and Neptune will need optical assistance. Mercury can also be hard to spot sometimes.
