Turn Two — a communications and PR agency that serves foundations and nonprofits across the U.S. — is looking for a PR and Administrative Assistant to support our growing team.
In this fully virtual role, you’ll work closely with our team to perform administrative tasks — including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence and some routine writing tasks, tracking billable hours, and making travel arrangements.
You’ll also play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our communications and PR team — assisting with the implementation of strategies and campaigns, managing our media lists, and tracking and reporting metrics.

Responsibilities
Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining materials inventory.
Coordinate internal and external email and phone correspondence.
Book travel and accommodations.
Set up and manage email newsletters and contact lists in Mailchimp.
Prepare spreadsheets and keep online records.
Create presentations.
Take notes and manage meeting/interview transcripts.
Coordinate logistics for events, including our annual in-person company retreat and virtual meetings and webinars.
Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
Maintain and update media contact databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Monitor and track media coverage and compile reports on media outcomes.
Skills
We are especially interested in candidates who have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with great attention to detail.
Proficiency in using PR and media monitoring tools.
Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in PR campaigns.
Basic knowledge of public relations principles and practices.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience working with email marketing platforms.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate also has:
A bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Previous experience or internships in a PR, communications or journalism role is preferred.
An understanding of media landscape and familiarity with media outlets.
Knowledge of AP Style and writing for various platforms.
An ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
A strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
Knowledge of industry trends and emerging PR practices.
Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
