Case Study: Transforming Communities

Community foundations play a vital role in improving lives and addressing challenges in small towns and big cities across the United States. But unless people  are directly engaged with a community foundation, most are unfamiliar with what these institutions are, how they operate, and their impact.

To help address this challenge, Turn Two Communications developed Transforming Communities -- a website that showcases information and news about community foundations, provides information to the news media, and educates the public about the Community Foundation Public Awareness Initiative.

Turn Two is also supporting the community foundation movement through Twitter and other social networks as part of a larger strategy that aims to help community foundations engage with lawmakers, journalists, potential donors, and other key audiences.
