RepresentUs

Highlighting a Decade of Achievements – and a Path Forward

The Problem

Over the course of a decade, the nonprofit RepresentUs had made significant strides toward its mission to secure our democracy by advocating for election reforms.

The organization had successfully fought against gerrymandering and led the charge for election reforms in states across America. Yet, the organization worried that supporters and key stakeholders didn’t fully understand the scope of its achievements and impact.

The Solution

The organization’s 10-year anniversary presented a prime opportunity to create a special report that could serve as a statement piece showcasing past achievements while also laying out its strategy for building on its success well into the future.

Turn Two partnered with RepresentUs’ team to develop an engaging theme for the report. From there, our team conducted a series of interviews with leaders, staff, volunteers and other key stakeholders to write and design a full-length interactive report that could be shared with donors, media, lawmakers and everyday citizens.

RepresentUs’ 10-year anniversary report helped drive deeper donor engagement.

Results

  • By emphasizing RepresentUs’ core mission of bipartisan collaboration, the report served as a key tool to engage policymakers and key stakeholders across the political spectrum ahead of a pivotal general Election.

  • RepresentUs shared the report with its donors to highlight concrete examples of how ongoing financial support had translated to tangible results over the past decade.

  • The report helped engage existing and new volunteers in a shared cause by showcasing the work of volunteers such as a group known as the “Badass Grandmas who led a historic campaign to pass election reforms in North Dakota.
