April 7: World Health Day

World Health Day marks the anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization (WHO). This year’s theme, “Together for health. Stand with science” celebrates the power of scientific collaboration to protect the health of people, animals, plants, and the planet. Take some time on this day to share resources and highlight related initiatives in your community.

April 19-25: National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week, including Volunteer Recognition Day (April 20), is the perfect time to thank those who volunteer their time and expertise to your organization and highlight upcoming volunteer opportunities.


April 22: Earth Day

Earth Day is dedicated to raising awareness and promoting action for environmental protection. It's a day to reflect on the importance of a healthy environment and to commit to sustainable practices that benefit the planet and future generations. 

April 30: National PrepareAthon! Day

National Prepareathon! Day serves as a great reminder that preparation pays off in times of crisis.
