As leader of Turn Two Communications Corporate Practice, Scott Westcott has worked in a full range of editorial, communications and PR roles from his days as an award-winning journalist to serving as lead speechwriter for a Fortune 500 CEO.
Scott has more than a decade of experience in high-profile corporate communications positions. After launching his career as a newspaper journalist and magazine writer, he served as senior editor and executive speechwriter at Erie Insurance Group. From there, he joined Key Bank, leading executive communications and strategy execution through the financial crisis. Later, Scott served as Director of Corporate Communications at Casteel Schoenborn, a boutique investor relations firm that provides strategic communications and investor relations counsel to public banks and insurance companies.
As principal of Westcott Writing & Communications, Scott has provided content, strategy and PR services to a wide range of clients in the banking, insurance, high-tech, pharmaceutical, health-care, retail, employment services and publishing industries. Throughout his career, Scott has continued to write for national consumer and trade magazines and Web sites on a wide range of topics including workplace and management issues, HR trends, business management and finance, and non-profit industry trends. His work has been published in Inc. Magazine, Parade, Health, Psychology Today, CNN.com, MainStreet.com, AARP, MyBusiness, Human Resource Executive, The Chronicle of Philanthropy and many others.
